Acute Respiratory Therapist
Kennewick, WA $68,640 - $108,160 a year
Respiratory Therapist (Night Shift)
We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join its night shift team. This is a great opportunity for both experienced therapists and recent graduates to work in a collaborative, fast-paced setting that emphasizes clinical excellence and team support.
Responsibilities:
Provide care for patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions
Administer oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and chest physiotherapy
Perform arterial blood gases and pulmonary function testing
Monitor patient response and adjust treatments accordingly
Educate patients and families on respiratory care and home techniques
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams across departments
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Follow hospital safety and infection control protocols
Qualifications:
Associate or bachelor's degree in respiratory care
Active Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner license (or eligible)
BLS required upon hire
ACLS, PALS, and NRP required within six months
Previous acute care experience preferred, but not required
