What You'll Do:

Deliver Critical Respiratory Care: Administer oxygen therapy, nebulized medications, CPAP/BiPAP, and airway management for acute and chronic conditions.

Conduct Diagnostic Testing: Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures such as arterial blood gases (ABGs), pulmonary function tests, and pulse oximetry.

Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to implement personalized care plans.

Educate and Support Patients & Families: Provide instruction on respiratory equipment use, home care strategies, and disease management for conditions like asthma and COPD.

Ensure Accuracy & Safety: Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain accurate patient documentation in accordance with hospital standards.

Qualifications:

Active Respiratory Therapist license in Michigan

NBRC (National Board for Respiratory Care) certification required

Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy (Bachelor's preferred)

New graduates encouraged to apply

Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient care skills

Knowledge of current respiratory care protocols and safety standards
