Job description
The Nurse Navigator is a nursing specialist responsible for coordinating comprehensive patient care across the treatment continuum.
They collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective treatment and support.
Key responsibilities include patient education, community outreach, and support group facilitation, particularly in oncology settings.
Qualifications include a valid RN license, a minimum of 2 years of related experience, and BLS certification.
Preferred candidates have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, additional experience in oncology, and certifications such as Oncology Nursing or Chemotherapy/Biotherapy.
Physical demands involve lifting, standing, walking, and performing various movements necessary for patient care.
