Phoenix, AZ $88,571 - $104,321 a year

Profession: Physical Therapy

Job Type: Full Time

Build a Career That Moves With You

This full-time Physical Therapist opportunity near Phoenix is designed for clinicians who want more than just a job—they want momentum. Here, you'll practice in a modern outpatient rehabilitation environment that values clinical excellence, professional growth, and flexibility in how careers are built and supported.

This role includes access to sign-on incentives, relocation support (up to $20,000), student loan assistance, and reimbursement for continuing education. For therapists interested in leadership growth, center management roles offer additional annual performance incentives. The environment encourages initiative, supports advancement, and meets therapists where they are—whether you're early in your career or ready to lead.

Importantly, this opportunity is welcoming to foreign-trained Physical Therapists, with certified instructors available to supervise and support licensure pathways, work authorization, and sponsorship needs.

Overview

As a Physical Therapist in this setting, you'll deliver patient-centered outpatient care focused on restoring movement, function, and confidence. You'll evaluate, treat, and progress patients through individualized plans of care while collaborating with a team that prioritizes outcomes, efficiency, and patient experience.

You'll have the autonomy to practice at the top of your license, supported by evidence-based protocols, strong operational infrastructure, and leadership that understands the realities of clinical practice—because they've been there.

This role is well-suited for therapists who value:

Clinical independence with operational support

Career pathways that include leadership and management options

A balanced caseload focused on quality rather than volume alone

Educate patients on injury prevention, movement strategies, and home exercise programs

Document evaluations, progress notes, and outcomes accurately in EMR systems

Maintain compliance with state practice acts, ethical standards, and safety protocols

Support mentorship, training, and professional development initiatives as appropriate

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program

Licensed Physical Therapist in Arizona or actively pursuing licensure

Foreign-trained Physical Therapists supported through supervised clinical instruction

Skills

Comfort in an outpatient orthopedic or general rehabilitation setting

The Region: Life Near Phoenix, Arizona

Living near Phoenix means waking up to sunshine more than 300 days a year and having immediate access to one of the most striking natural landscapes in the country. The Valley of the Sun blends modern urban energy with dramatic desert beauty—towering saguaro cacti, crimson mountain ranges, and wide-open skies that seem to stretch forever.

For outdoor enthusiasts, the lifestyle is unmatched. Before work, you might hike Camelback or South Mountain as the desert cools at dawn. On weekends, trails in the Superstition Mountains or McDowell Sonoran Preserve offer endless exploration—hiking, trail running, mountain biking, and photography all minutes from home. Cooler evenings invite patio dining, rooftop sunsets, and community events that stretch well into the night.

Phoenix also delivers a vibrant and evolving cultural scene. Neighborhoods each have their own personality—from historic districts filled with art galleries and cafés to newer developments centered around wellness, fitness, and family life. Food lovers enjoy everything from authentic Southwestern cuisine to innovative farm-to-table dining, while sports fans have year-round access to professional teams, spring training baseball, and world-class golf.

One of the region's greatest strengths is its accessibility. The cost of living remains more approachable than many coastal metros, commutes are manageable, and the city continues to grow in thoughtful, intentional ways. Families, young professionals, and clinicians alike find space here—physically and mentally—to build a sustainable, fulfilling life.

For Physical Therapists, Phoenix offers a rare combination: strong patient demand, expanding healthcare infrastructure, and a lifestyle that supports both professional ambition and personal well-being. It's a place where careers accelerate without burning out—and where life outside the clinic feels just as rewarding as the work itself.
