nHenry Ford Brighton Center for Recovery is looking for a moonlighting Addiction Medicine physician to join our elite team!

nHenry Ford Brighton Center for Recovery is looking for a Board Eligible/Board Certified Addictionologist. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Henry Ford Brighton Center for Recovery to care for patients who are dealing with alcohol and drug addiction.

nPosition Highlights:

nnHenry Ford Brighton Center for Recovery is the only licensed drug treatment center in Michigan with 24-hour nursing staff coverage

nFull-time licensed dietitian and nutrition specialist on campus

nOn-site drug treatment physicians, counselors and therapists

nHospital employed day position, office hours 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and participates in on call schedule on a rotational basis

n nResponsibilities:

nnOutpatient visits consists of children's program, outpatient medical/psychiatric follow-up and women's recovery

nEvaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnosis and treatment skills

nRecommends, participates in and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients

nProvides appropriate documentation related to patient care

nWork in collaboration with other members of the health care team to deliver high-quality patient care

n nnQualifications:

Qualifications

nLicensure/Certification/Registration

nRequired Credential(s):

n• Physician MD/DO with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Michigan Board of Medicine obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date

nPreferred Credential(s):

n• Board Certified in specialty

n• Board Certified in Addiction Medicine

n• Suboxone Waiver preferred

nEducation:

n• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required
