Position Details
This is a Part-time position located at Substance Abuse Treatment Facility in Corcoran, CA, in Kings County . The role involves providing psychiatric services in a correctional setting, with a maximum of 40 hours per month.
Job Description and Duties
As a Staff Psychiatrist, you will deliver mental health services to the incarcerated population, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management, adhering to correctional healthcare standards.
Qualifications
Current California medical license
Board certification in Psychiatry or eligibility
Experience in correctional or forensic psychiatry preferred
Additional Information
Work hours are outside normal hours; time worked is outside your primary role and not overtime.
Onsite dual appointments may be available at your primary institution.
