Position Summary
The Department of Biological Sciences at SUNY Cortland is accepting applications to fill potential part‑time adjunct faculty openings for the academic year.
Salary
$4500 per 3 credit hour course.

Major Responsibilities
A classroom based 3 credit hour course pays $4500 per class. The department typically hires for the courses/subject areas listed below but this list is not all inclusive. Other courses/subject areas may become available within the department.
Laboratory Instructors for majors and non‑majors
Introductory Biology
Cell Biology, Genetics
Human Anatomy and Physiology
Microbiology for non‑majors
Ecology
Functional and Supervisory Relationships
Adjunct instructors report to the principal instructor of course(s) and/or laboratory coordinator. The Department Chair is hiring the supervisor for all adjunct positions in the department.
Required Qualifications
Appropriate level of experience and/or Master’s degree in biological fields related to course subject area.
Preferred Qualifications
Terminal degree preferred.
