## Adjunct Lecturer, History & Society DivisionApply: Wellesley MA: Part time: Posted 30+ Days Ago: R The History & Society Division accepts applications from qualified applicants for adjunct faculty positions and reviews them when an opening becomes available.**WHAT YOU WILL DO**Teach courses in our undergraduate programs.Adjunct faculty have the opportunity to take advantage of teaching development through our Center for Engaged Teaching and Learning (CELT) and obtain coaching from colleagues.Assume additional responsibilities as required.**WHAT EDUCATION AND SKILLS YOU WILL NEED**Requires an ABD in an appropriate Social Science discipline, and college teaching experience. This position is well-suited for an advanced graduate student seeking teaching experience in preparation for entering the faculty job market.Must be aligned with our values of teaching excellence, collaboration, and inclusion, and those who embrace our mission to educate entrepreneurial leaders who create great economic and social value everywhere.Demonstrate a passion for teaching a range of students, be collaborative team-players, be willing to learn and adapt teaching technology, and have experience that can quickly establish credibility in the classroom.Is a team player, excited to coordinate teaching with other faculty in the division.**HOW AND WHERE YOU WILL WORK**Courses will usually be in-person on Babson’s Wellesley campus during regular semesters and will meet for 90 minutes twice a week on Monday and Wednesday, or Tuesday and Thursday.The rate for this position is $7,437 per course equivalency (CE).Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. Babson does not sponsor for employment-based petitions/applications for this role.
