Adjunct Professor - Spanish

Position Overview
The Department of Languages at Charleston Southern University invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor of Spanish. Charleston Southern seeks candidates who are professing Christians, committed to excellence in teaching, scholarship and service. They should support the goals of a strong liberal arts education and be willing to explore with students the integration of faith and learning.
Start Date
2025 Fall Semester.
Responsibilities
The Adjunct Instructor will teach Spanish online and/or in-person depending on the semester and departmental needs. Part-time adjuncts are contracted term-by-term based on course/section need and availability.

Candidates should complete the online application and attach a cover letter, curriculum vitae, philosophy of Christian education, and transcripts pertinent to teaching Spanish at the university level. Minimum education requirements include a master's degree in Spanish, language education or other comparable field. Eighteen (18) graduate semester hours in the teaching specialty are required. Evidence of successful teaching experience is also requested.
