Adjunct - School of Arts and Science
Virginia Highlands Community College is recruiting for adjunct faculty positions for day and evening classes in which there is no current posting. This is to establish a pool of applicants that may be used in the future as adjunct faculty positions become available. Applications will be reviewed and considered as vacancies occur. Please review the required qualifications section for a list of disciplines within the School of Arts and Sciences. Based on academic preparation and work experience of the applicant.
Minimum qualifications required by the accrediting agency in the discipline taught. Disciplines within the School of Arts and Sciences are as follows: American Sign Language, Art, Biology, Chemistry, Childhood Development, Communication and Theatre, Computer Science, Criminal Justice, Education, English, History, Human Services, Humanities, Mathematics, Music, Natural Sciences, Philosophy, Physics, Political Science, Psychology, Religion, Sociology, Spanish.
