Admin Assistant 2Working Title: Admin Assistant 2Position Grade: 07Position Summary: The Center for Development and Disability (CDD), established in 1990, is New Mexico's University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research and Service. These centers, authorized by the Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act, build the capacities of states and communities to respond to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. This Administrative Assistant 2 position will be a part of a team to support the AODD division, which includes purchasing supplies and materials with a UNM purchasing card, travel reimbursements as well as other financial activities. The individual will perform data entry and assist with editing and proofing documents. This individual will support the work efforts of professionals for any of our programs on a daily basis. The ideal candidate for this position will be compassionate and creative with excellent administrative support skills. The Autism Programs at the CDD is a large, multi-faceted program with multiple funding streams and projects that support individuals with autism spectrum disorders and their families to live the life of their choosing. This is accomplished through clinical evaluation/diagnosis, extensive community training, parent mediated training, school consultations and technical assistance. See the Position Description for additional information.Conditions of Employment: If this position is assigned to the Athletics Department, either administratively or functionally, compliance with all NCAA rules and regulations is required. All regular, non-temporary positions assigned to this classification are represented by a labor union and subject to the terms and conditions of the US-UNM Collective Bargaining Agreement.Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.Preferred Qualifications: Skill in use of Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Publisher, Learning Stream, Survey Monkey & Constant Contact. Experience scheduling and coordinating meetings for staff and/or families of clients, trainings and events, and/or other similar activities for supervisors, which may include coordinating travel and lodging arrangements; establishing, maintaining, and updating files, databases, records, and/or other documents, developing and maintaining data, and performing routine analysis and calculations in the processing of data for recurring internal reports; providing administrative support in a direct service environment and familiar with the UNM financial systems including Chrome River, LoboMart and Banner; with data entry and records management.Campus: Health Sciences Center (HSC) - Albuquerque, NMDepartment: Pediatrics Center for Development (997H)Employment Type: StaffStaff Type: Term - Full-TimeTerm End Date: 06/30/2027Status: Non-ExemptPay: Hourly: $17.56 to $22.29Benefits Eligible: This is a benefits eligible position.
