Administrative SupportWith a career at The Home Depot, you can be yourself and also be part of something bigger.This position will provide administrative support to one or more District Managers and/or district. They will perform a broad range of administrative and clerical duties to support the daily business operations including filing, data entry, fielding calls and scheduling meetings. In addition, this position must be able to manage confidential business, associate, and candidate information.Key ResponsibilitiesAdministrative duties: Handles District Manager calendar, processes expenses, maintain files and department supplies. Researches and compiles information for weekly, monthly and yearly reports.Performs other administrative duties as assigned.Project coordination: Handles meeting schedule, agenda, preparation, and presentation ensuring that all meeting materials are prepared in advance and accessible to the leaders. Coordinates the on-boarding process for new associates.Event planning: Coordinates and executes internal and external events; including securing locations, handling logistics, meeting set up and catering as needed.Travel planning: Assists with internal and external event planning; including securing locations, handling logistics, meeting set up and catering as needed.Direct Manager/Direct ReportsMay support one or more District Managers and/or districtsDuties are broad in nature and require exercise of sound judgment related to assignmentsNo direct reports.Travel RequirementsTypically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.Physical RequirementsMost of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.Working ConditionsLocated in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.Minimum QualificationsMust be eighteen years of age or older.Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience supporting District Manager and above, preferably within a larger corporate professional environment.Ability to work well under pressure with composure.High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products.Strong teamwork skills and a strong ability to offer suggestions to improve processes.Ability to work collaboratively with others.Ability to be flexible and adaptable in responses to changing priorities and needsMinimum EducationThe knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.Preferred EducationNo additional educationMinimum Years of Work Experience2Preferred Years of Work ExperienceNo additional years of experienceMinimum Leadership ExperienceNonePreferred Leadership ExperienceNoneCertificationsNoneCompetenciesNone
