Job description
Administrative Cross-Dock AssociateWe are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Cross-Dock Associate to support the Archway cross-dock operation. This role combines administrative responsibilities with logistics support to ensure a smooth and accurate flow of freight through the facility. The Warehouse Administrator supports the daily operations of the warehouse by managing administrative tasks, coordinating inventory records, and ensuring accurate documentation of all inbound and outbound activities. This role serves as the communication bridge between warehouse staff, management, and external partners to help maintain efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.Key Results AreaProcess and maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and inventory levelsPrepare and update warehouse documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and invoicesEnter and verify data in warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP softwareAssist with inventory control, cycle counts, and reconciliation of stock discrepanciesCoordinate with warehouse supervisors, shipping/receiving teams, and carriers to ensure smooth operationsMonitor and track purchase orders, work orders, and returnsMaintain organized files, reports, and records for auditing and compliance purposesSupport warehouse leadership with scheduling, reporting, and other administrative tasks as neededEnsure adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and compliance standardsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent (associate's degree preferred)Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or administrative roles preferredStrong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detailProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and warehouse management systems.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Experience using an Electric Pallet Jack is requiredWorking ConditionsOffice-based with regular time spent in the warehouse environmentMay require occasional lifting of materials up to 25 lbsStandard business hours with potential overtime during peak periodsArchway is committed to building a diverse workforce by attracting, developing, and retaining employees.
