Medical Staff Administrative AssistantThe primary purpose of the Medical Staff Administrative Assistant is to serve as the principle reception to the Medical Staff office, medical staff members and hospital employees. This position will handle a variety of clerical and administrative duties and be assigned other projects as needed. The Medical Staff Administrative Assistant must provide professional, efficient, friendly customer service always, demonstrating Aultman Health Foundation’s mission and values.Qualifications:High School Graduate or equivalent. Associates or bachelor’s degree is preferred.1-3 years of experience in a professional office environment preferred.Experience and knowledge with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word.Experience with a Credentialing software system a plus.Responsibilities:Database management, data entry, and generating reports from Credentialing Software system.Manage multiple committee meetings and tracks committee membership.Track and manage expiring documents necessary for credentialing.Order and stock supplies for office and Medical Staff lounge.Greet all visitors to the Medical Staff Office and facilitate any requests.Efficiently complete a wide variety of typing assignments in a timely manner.Answer all incoming telephone calls and appropriately assist callers.Arrange meetings and conferences, schedule meeting rooms as needed.Prepare a variety of general office duties including reports, minutes, letters, correspondence, email distributions, and filing.Skills:Must be detail oriented.Have ability to communicate effectively.Work effectively with coworkers.Strong communication skills.Ability to multi-task and prioritize work in accordance with office projects and necessity.Possesses exceptional interpersonal communication, confidentiality, and professionalism skills.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, identity, family status, gender, disability, or veteran status.Working Conditions:Work 4-8 hours per shift. Primarily Day Shift, occasional evening and weekend coverage. Shifts are variable to volume of department. Rotation as needed. Lunch periods and breaks are coordinated with other staff members to maintain adequate floor coverage. Cross training to other areas in the department to provide coverage as needed.
