It is intended to identify the essential duties of the position. Other duties, responsibilities and tasks may be assigned.Duties & Responsibilities:Answer and direct phone callsSort and open office mail and place in appropriate inboxes.Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to: Photocopying, Faxing, Mailing (maintain mailing list, preparing mailing labels, etc), FilingKeep inventory and process requests for office suppliesMaintain routine reports and statisticsSubmit timesheets to payroll on bi-weekly basisPerform other related duties as requested.Maintain all department files according to office proceduresPerform all typing duties (including, but not limited to: correspondence, forms, documents, schedules, bulletins, etc.)Maintain an adequate Bring up fileRespond to all donations with a thank you card (monetary and in-kind)Schedule social service interviews as requiredCoordinates "clothe a child" holiday assistanceHelp with kids' recruitment paperwork for summer campKeep the finance database entries up to dateHelp with bank depositsQualifications:Education Requirements: High School DiplomaCollege/Business School Graduate preferredWork Experience: At least two (2) years work experience in fieldOther Qualifications:High level of confidentiality, discretion, and judgmentRequires a high level of computer expertise related to Microsoft Applications - Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, etc.Must have excellent organizational skillsMust be able to communicate effectively in a warm, gracious, and professional mannerRequires a high degree of initiative; highly detail oriented and organized; and able to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrated skills in written correspondence and verbal communication. Excellent interpersonal skills, able to relate professionally and effectively with key internal and external constituencies including fellow staff, volunteers, donors, and board members.Must be able to work both autonomously and as part of a team.Physical Requirements:The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the duties of this job.
