Administrative AssistantLocation: Freeport, TX Salary: $51,200 - $69,800 Schedule: 9/80 or 5/8sFocus: The Administrative Assistant (Training & OMS Support) provides critical administrative, training coordination, and Operational Management System (OMS) support at Unit 3 & Unit 5 to ensure efficient, compliant, and safe operations within a chemical manufacturing environment. This role partners closely with Operations, Maintenance, EH&S, HR, and site leadership to maintain training compliance, workforce readiness, and accurate operational documentation while supporting day-to-day administrative needs.Administrative Assistant Essential Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive administrative support including calendar management, meeting coordination, communications, and document preparationCoordinate employee onboarding, training schedules, site events, and workforce development activitiesAdminister Learning Management Systems (e.g., Saba, Workday Learning), including assigning training, tracking completion, and generating compliance reportsMaintain accurate training records and documentation to support OSHA, audit, and regulatory compliance requirementsSupport Operational Management System (OMS) processes including document control, compliance tracking, and audit readinessPrepare reports, dashboards, and metrics to support operational and training performance trackingPartner with cross-functional teams (Operations, Maintenance, EH&S, HR) to ensure alignment on training requirements and operational prioritiesAdministrative Assistant Requirements:High School diploma or equivalent; Associates Degree* preferred3+ years of administrative experienceExperience in in a manufacturing or chemical plant environment preferredExperience supporting training programs, compliance systems, or learning management systems preferredProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; SAP experience preferredStrong organizational, communication, and time management skills with high attention to detail; self-motivated and able to independently prioritize tasks, solve problems, and manage multiple deadlines with accuracyPrior Olin experience in a relevant position preferredMust possess a valid Driver's licenseStrong Careers Grow Here As a global leader in both chemical manufacturing and ammunition, Olin empowers over 8,000 individuals to make an impact both at work and in our surrounding communities.
