Administrative Assistant – Healthcare EventCareerNation is seeking organized and personable administrative assistants to support an upcoming on-site healthcare event.This is a hands-on event support position responsible for participant intake, check-in/check-out, event flow, supplies, and communication with event leadership.This short-term assignment can be converted into an ongoing travel contract with company-provided travel, hotel, and stipends!Cedar Rapids, IA: 9/1/26, 7 AM–6 PMThe Hotel at Kirkwood Center, 7725 Kirkwood Blvd SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404ResponsibilitiesGreet and check in participantsComplete participant intake and verify required informationAssist with participant check-outDirect participants between stations and help maintain efficient event flowAssist clinical staff with non-clinical administrative needsHelp prepare the site before the event beginsAssist with breakdown and cleanup at the end of the eventOrganize, monitor, and track event supplies and inventoryIdentify supply shortages or operational issuesCommunicate questions, delays, staffing concerns, or other issues to the off-site lead/manager as neededMaintain an organized and professional event environmentRequirementsPrevious administrative, medical-office, healthcare, event, or customer-service experience preferredStrong organizational skills and attention to detailComfortable interacting with a high volume of participantsAbility to work independently while following instructions from an off-site managerReliable and punctualProfessional communication skillsAbility to remain on-site for the full scheduled event
