From your first day with us, you will have a direct impact on the safety and protection of the local communities where we live and work.Position SummaryOur Administrative Assistants manage, track and support assets (including fleet), equipment (including communications, locating equipment, gas detection equipment, and computers), inventory and general purchases in coordination with both the Purchasing and Supplier Manager and the Fleet and Cap Asset Manager. Manage and support building warehouse requirements and hazardous waste control. Provide general administrative support to the District. Ensuring the field technicians have all equipment needed to perform their daily functions is a priority.ResponsibilitiesManage and track all assets including but not limited to vehicles, GPS units, computers, phones, locating equipment, gas detection equipment,, and general purchases.Travel to field locations as needed to support Operations.Provide general administrative support as directed by management.Trouble shoot computer issues in and out of the field, organize and manage the inventory, and maintain detailed lists of equipment allocation.RequirementsAble and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions as neededAvailable to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as neededAble to stand and walk for long periods of time on varying types of terrain; bend and stoop; lift heavy items up to 75 lbs.HS Diploma or GED required.Inventory tracking experience preferredUtility industry experience preferredExcellent project management skills and the ability to work independentlyExcellent organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detailBe computer proficient with basic knowledge of computer hardware preferredHave a valid driver's license and a safe driving recordWhy You'll Love Working for Us (Our Benefits)Company vehicle, laptop, phone and equipmentAdvancement opportunities – we promote from within the companyMedical, dental, vision and life insurancePaid holidaysA 401(k) with company matchWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
