This new hire will work at our Global Headquarters, located in Hunt Valley, MD. The Administrative Assistant will report to a VP Finance - America. Benefits include, but are not limited to, tuition assistance, medical, dental, vision, disability, group life insurance, 401(k), profit sharing, paid holidays, and vacations.Key Responsibilities:Provide administrative support to the CFO – Americas and her team.Manage calendars and business activities including scheduling meetings, arranging meeting rooms, and required set-up to support business objectives (i.e. agenda, Teams, laptop set-up, etc.)Manage travel arrangementsSupport Americas Finance broader team as neededComplete expense reports in ConcurCreate and manage purchase orders and vendor set upsPrepare presentations, numerical reports and update and maintain various spreadsheets and databasesMay serve as the timekeeper for the team.Manage payroll and document vacation and sick timeHandle departmental administrative duties as required i.e., ordering office/lab supplies, preparing purchase requisitions, etc.Handle A/V technical issuesCoordinate, project manage, and support events: Town Hall, EOY meetings and events, monthly team-building lunches, and other events upon requestQualifications:High School diploma or equivalentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong computer skills in Microsoft Office suiteAbility to prioritize competing work demands, planning and organizing to meet scheduled deadlinesStrong organizational skills, including paper and electronic filing systemsApproachable and helpful demeanor with a strong customer focusAbility to respond to internal & external customers in a pro-active and timely fashionExcellent attention to detail and high degree of accuracy in all workAbility to exercise discretion and handle confidential material and informationProfessional, positive, service-oriented behavior in all interactionsAbility to anticipate and initiate cyclical activitiesProven job-related, complex problem-solving and independent judgment abilitiesAbility to complete projects with limited supervisionAbility to be flexible and adaptable to changing prioritiesExperience with SAP, Concur, Ariba is plusAs a general policy, McCormick does not offer employment visa sponsorships upon hire or in the future. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick's Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan.
