Assistant To Senior PastorWorks with the Senior Pastor and Ministry Staff in a small but dynamic office environment. Assists with administration of church life.Qualifications:A Christian faith lived; manifested in things like an active worship life and ongoing growth in the faithAn appreciation for the Lutheran-Christian traditionAbility to pass basic proficiency test with MS Word, Excel and PublisherAn ability to work with peopleA positive attitudeAn ability to maintain confidentialityPrevious office experience a plusGeneral Description:Assists Pastor and leadership in congregational life, such as preparing materials for meetings, making sure details are in place for baptisms, weddings and funerals.Manages daily operation of officeOversees website and FacebookSkills Needed:Ability to work computersTime, Task, Organizational and Project Management SkillsAbility to take command of situations and resolve them to successful completionStrong organizational skillsFast learner, detail-oriented, creative problem solver, self-starter, multi-taskerBasic writing and editing* Background check and references required.
