Administrative AssistantMethod Architecture is a uniquely ego-free architecture firm, committed to a systematic creative process that focuses on clients and their needs first and foremost. Operating with the flexibility of a small firm, but with a big reach, Method is a full-service architecture firm specializing in tenant finish and ground-up projects encompassing industrial, corporate interiors, healthcare, hospitality, breweries, retail and more.Method Architecture is looking for a part-time Administrative Assistant to support our Austin office. This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys keeping an office organized, helping people, and taking on a variety of tasks.Day-to-day work may include welcoming visitors, coordinating meetings, ordering supplies, helping with office events, supporting the team with general administrative projects including light IT and facilities.We're also open to individuals with experience or interest in IT, architecture, interior design, or another area that could bring something valuable to our team.We welcome students and applicants from a range of backgrounds. What matters most is that you're organized, dependable, comfortable learning new things, and ready to pitch in where needed.If this sounds like you, please send us your résumé and a brief note about the skills or interests you'd bring to the Austin office.Job Responsibilities:Greet guestsReply professionally and promptly to calls and emailsMail: copy, scan, sortAnswer door, accept deliveriesFill out courier requestsOrder and stock suppliesOverall upkeep of the officeTroubleshoot light IT issuesCommunicate with landlord, janitorial, and vendors on any facility issuesCoordinate product presentation/lunch and learn with vendorsAssist Marketing department with event planning and set upsAssist HR in various company culture tasks, onboarding and offboardingAdditional projects as neededLife at MethodMethod Architecture's employees participate in a collaborative work environment that facilitates the cultivation of fresh and exciting ideas to fulfill the specific needs of the client.
