About This JobOffice of Enforcement – OrdersThe Office of Enforcement (OENF) is dedicated to ensuring regulatory compliance and protecting public and environmental interests through rigorous inspection programs, timely enforcement actions and transparent oversight. The Office emphasizes proactive monitoring, consistent regulatory enforcement and transparent reporting. Its operations are designed to uphold compliance standards, swiftly address violations and maintain trust and accountability within Louisiana's regulated community.This position performs a variety of clerical duties that are routine in nature in support of the staff members and/or operations of an organizational unit or program.An ideal candidate should possess the following competencies:Accepting Directions: the ability to be open and willing to follow guidance or instructions.Communicating Effectively: the ability to convey information, ideas, and emotions using structured communication methods that promote understanding and engagement.Demonstrating Accountability: the ability to take ownership of actions, behaviors, performance, decisions, and outcomes.Minimum QualificationsNo experience or training is required.Job SpecificationThe official job specifications for this role, as defined by the State Civil Service, can be found here.Job Duties And Other InformationJob Duties:Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:To perform a variety of clerical duties that are routine in nature in support of the staff members and/or operations of an organizational unit or program.Employees usually follow detailed instructions or procedures. Very limited, if any, discretion is required in the performance of these duties.Performs routine filing and scanning of documents and maintains filing systems.Copies and/or distributes correspondence, reports, and other documents.Receives cash, checks, credit cards, vouchers, or departmental charges from customers and/or employees in payment for goods or services.May operate various office equipment (such as a copy machine, calculator) that requires no special knowledge or previous training.Performs related duties as assigned.Position-Specific Information:Appointment Type: WAEWork Schedule: Work hours are flexible.Location: This position is located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.Compensation: The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.BenefitsLouisiana State Government represents a wide variety of career options and offers an outstanding opportunity to make a difference through public service.
