The Admissions Counselor for Online Nursing, Education Pathways, and Adult Programs
Position Summary:
The Admissions Counselor for Online Nursing, Education Pathways, and Adult Programs serves as the primary point of contact for prospective students interested in Oklahoma Christian University's online and adult-serving academic programs. This position guides students through the admissions process while supporting recruitment initiatives, workforce development efforts, and community partnerships that contribute to enrollment growth.

Responsibilities: Serve as the primary admissions contact for online, adult, degree completion, nursing, and educator preparation programs.
Guide prospective students through the admissions and enrollment process.
Build partnerships with healthcare organizations, school districts, employers, and community partners.
Represent the university at recruitment events and community outreach activities.
Manage recruitment pipelines, CRM records, and communication campaigns.
Collaborate with campus departments to support a seamless student experience.
Support the mission and values of Oklahoma Christian University.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required.
Experience in admissions, enrollment, student services, recruitment, healthcare, education, workforce development, marketing, business, or a related field preferred.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Proven ability to build relationships with prospective students, employers, and community partners.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Willingness to travel within Oklahoma and work occasional evenings and weekends for recruitment events.
Active member of a local church and committed to the Christian mission and values of Oklahoma Christian University.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with adult learners, online education, healthcare, nursing, K-12 education, or workforce development.
Experience building community partnerships and supporting recruitment or outreach initiatives.
Familiarity with CRM systems.
