Admissions Director
Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
Full-Time
Salary: Up to $95,000 per year

We are seeking a dynamic, organized, and customer-focused Admissions Director to lead our admissions process and help individuals transition seamlessly into our skilled nursing facility. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional who excels at building relationships, coordinating admissions, and providing exceptional service to residents, families, and referral partners.
As the Admissions Director, you will play a vital role in driving occupancy while ensuring every resident and family experiences a smooth and welcoming admission process.
Responsibilities
Manage the daily admissions process from referral through admission.
Coordinate with hospitals, case managers, physicians, and referral sources to facilitate timely admissions.
Review referrals for clinical and financial eligibility.
Communicate with prospective residents and families, providing tours and answering questions about the facility and services.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure smooth resident transitions.
Complete admission paperwork and ensure all required documentation is accurate and compliant.
Maintain relationships with referral sources to promote continued admissions growth.
Monitor bed availability and coordinate admissions with nursing and administrative leadership.
Track admissions metrics and prepare reports for leadership.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations.
Qualifications
Previous Admissions, Marketing, Business Development, or Healthcare Sales experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility, Rehabilitation Center, or healthcare setting preferred.
Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and insurance verification processes.
Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems.
Experience working with hospital discharge planners and referral sources is highly desirable.
