Admissions And Recruitment Office, Enrollment Development And College FuturesThis position will provide customer service and support for all stages of application processing which would include reviewing and processing admission applications for completion, data entry, document management, reviewing official transcripts, computing and inputting GPA's, processing transfer equivalencies, and inputting test scores. The position will follow documented application requirements and established policies and procedures to effectively process applications.Salary & Benefits: C3 Level. Minimum starting wage of $20.49 per hourComprehensive benefits package including medical, vision, dental, life insurance, generous employer retirement contributions, wellness resources, and tuition waiver effective on date of hire.Essential Functions:Process, monitor and maintain admission applications from beginning to endResponsible for recruit and application data entryProcess and maintain transfer equivalencies, application decisions, various calculations, and student recordsPrepare and mail appropriate correspondence to applicantsAssist students, parents, staff, and faculty on the telephone, online, and in personProvide information and complete transactions as necessaryInterpret regulations and procedures and respond appropriatelyUse information provided by computerized reporting to monitor and maintain the quality and accuracy of dataWork with multiple data systems in the test and production environmentsSupervise student employeesOther related duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:High school graduate or equivalentMinimum of three years of relevant work experienceExperience with various computer software applications such as Microsoft Office and/or equivalentDemonstrated experience to successfully operate office equipmentData entry experienceTyping and spelling competency with grammar and proofreading skillsPossess strong verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated experience to successfully provide quality customer serviceDemonstrated experience to successfully work independently, organize own work, and coordinate the work activities of othersAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesDemonstrated experience to successfully maintain satisfactory work performance and attendance recordsAbility to successfully maintain positive intercultural and interpersonal relationshipsPreferred Qualifications:Some college course workHigher education experienceSupervisory experienceExperience with a CRM System (Customer Relationship Management System), such as SlatePrior experience working with international transcriptsSupervision Received: Receives general instruction from a designated supervisor but is generally expected to work independently.Supervision Exercised: Hire, train, supervise, schedule, and coordinate the work of student employees and may act as lead worker to other PSS staff members within the department/unit/division.Campus: Allendale, MI
