Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) join our team at Newark Rehabilitation

As an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) at our facility, you'll play a critical role in leading our nursing team to deliver exceptional care and service.
About the Role
As an ADON at Newark Rehabilitation, you'll be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing department, ensuring that our patients receive high-quality care and support. Your duties will include:
Leadership and Operations: Directly supervise and mentor a team of nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care.
Quality Improvement: Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Staff Development: Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our nursing staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Communication and Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with other departments, including therapy, social work, and administrative teams, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and policies governing our nursing department.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
Current RN license and CPR certification
