Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) - Newburgh Health and Rehab

About the Role
As an Assistant Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing department, ensuring high-quality patient care, and fostering a positive work environment. In this critical leadership position, you will be expected to:
Assume responsibility for the daily management of the nursing department, including scheduling, staff development, and quality improvement initiatives
Mange and coordinate patient care across various settings, including skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and assisted living
Conduct rounds and provide direct patient care as needed to ensure excellent outcomes and patient satisfaction
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, addressing the unique needs of each patient
Develop and maintain sound relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless transitions and continuity of care
Requirements
To be considered for this rewarding opportunity, you must possess:
Current RN license with active registration with the Indiana State Board of Nursing
Minimum 0 years of experience in a relevant healthcare setting, with a strong background in nursing administration and management
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and tasks
Excellent clinical knowledge and judgment, with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care
