Job description
Health Science And Medical Technology Teacher
Credential Requirement: Must have a valid CTE teaching credential: Health Science and Medical Technology. CDPH LFS Certification/Licensure: In accordance with California state law, the instructor must hold a current, valid California license or certification as one of the following: Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT I or CPT II), Registered Nurse (RN), Physician Assistant (PA), Licensed Physician and Surgeon (MD or DO), Clinical Laboratory Scientist (or person licensed under Chapter 3 of the CA Business and Professions Code), Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) Required Experience: If qualifying as a CPT I or CPT II, a minimum of three (3) years of on-the-job experience in the previous five (5) years is mandated by the state. If qualifying as an RCP, a minimum of two (2) years of experience in the previous five (5) years is mandated by the state.
