Position Overview

We are seeking an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner bilingual in Russian to join a multi-specialty practice in Forest Hills, Queens, NY. This unique role combines housecalls and office-based care, offering a dynamic and flexible work environment.

Work Schedule: Full-time or Part-time position (at least 3 days a week/weekdays)

Mondays-Fridays (1-2 days housecalls/telehealth, 3 days in office)

Qualifications

Education:

Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or equivalent.

Certification: Board Certified as an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner.

Experience: 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.

Language: Must be bilingual in Russian.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in performing physical exams, diagnostic tests, and operating medical equipment; proficiency in MDLand EMR.

Soft Skills: Strong communication, empathy, and the ability to train patients and families in managing health conditions.

Key Responsibilities

Perform physical exams and patient observations.

Record patients' medical histories and symptoms.

Create and contribute to patient care plans.

Order, administer, and analyze diagnostic tests.

Monitor and operate medical equipment.

Diagnose health issues and administer treatments.

Modify treatment plans based on changes in patients' health.

Consult with healthcare professionals and families.

Train patients and families to manage and prevent illness and injury.
