Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced Adult Inpatient Psychiatry physician to work locum shifts in Anchorage, Alaska (AK). The team is anticipating starting Oct/Nov 2026 . The role offers a competitive market rate and Locums benefit.
50298 - Adult Inpatient Psychiatry (MD/DO) Locum Role:
Inpatient Schedule: Monday-Friday: 8a-4p; Occasional weekends (about 1 per month)
Scope: Adult acute care facility
PPD: 12-14 - charting needs to be completed daily
EMR: Meditech
Client prefers forensic experience; fellowship not required and will work with board eligible
Requirements of the Adult Inpatient Psychiatry Role:
AK state license; active, unrestricted. & DEA.
Certification: Board Certification or BE, within 5 years of training , with BLS (AHA)
CV (MM/YYYY, 30+day gaps explained - work and education)
