Adult Outpatient Therapist (Social Worker)
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Southgate, MI
Schedule: Flexible Scheduling Available.
Timings:
Monday - Thursday: 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM
Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Flexible scheduling available
Some evening or weekend hours may be required based on program needs
Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate Adult Outpatient Therapist to provide mental health and substance use treatment services to adult clients. The therapist will conduct assessments, provide individual and group therapy, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and support clients throughout their treatment journey.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct intake assessments and evaluations.
• Develop person-centered treatment plans.
• Provide individual and group therapy.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care providers, family members, and community partners.
• Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and case consultations.
• Coordinate discharge planning and continuity of care.
• Maintain compliance with agency, state, and funding source requirements.
Qualifications:
• Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
• Active Michigan licensure required (full or limited license).
• Ability to maintain state licensure and professional ethical standards.
• Experience working with adults experiencing mental health and/or substance use disorders preferred.
