Direct Care Provider, Adult Mental Health ProgramWe're seeking a compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented Direct Care Provider to join our residential team. You'll play a hands-on role in creating a safe, respectful, and empowering home-like environment for adults living with mental health challenges.What you will do:Support individuals with daily living activities depending on their level of needFoster a supportive living environment that promotes emotional, physical, and social well-beingAssist with planning and implementing treatment and support plansMaintain safety standardsProvide crisis intervention and emotional support when neededWhat we are looking for:Associate's Degree in Human Services or related field or equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience working with adults with mental health challenges desirable, but not necessary. If you have knowledge of, or desire to learn about the needs and abilities of people struggling with mental health, please consider applying.Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and a nonjudgmental attitudeGood communication skills and ability to work with a diverse teamAbility to remain calm and supportive in challenging situationsPosition details:Full-time with shifts that may include day, overnight and weekend hours, based on your availability.Starting at $19/hour, with shift differentials for evening hours (plus $3) and awake overnight (plus $4).After completing the in-house training of Medication Administration, First Aid and CPR, and Crisis Prevention and Intervention, the pay will increase to $20/hour.Valid driver's license, use of personal vehicle and clear background required.Part-time per-diem positions are also available.At CSAC, we are dedicated to providing trauma-informed, and person-centered care.
