Job description
Frederick Health Medical Group (FHMG), a highly respected 160+ provider, multi-specialty medical group, is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Primary Care and Internal Medicine team in a unique Full-Time role that will cover both clinics. This position is ideal for an APP who thrives in a collaborative environment, values high-quality patient care, and enjoys supporting a physician-led team while maintaining a balanced and rewarding clinical practice.
In this role, you will spend approximately 50% of your time providing direct patient care and 50% supporting the provider team through clinical coordination and workflow support. Unlike traditional primary care roles, you will not be responsible for building or managing your own patient panel, allowing you to focus on excellent care, teamwork, and clinical excellence.
Why This Role Stands Out
Balanced responsibilities: Combine patient-facing care with meaningful clinical support work
No patient panel ownership: Focus on care, not volume-building
Team-based environment: Work closely with physicians, care coordinators, nursing staff, and leadership
Mission-driven organization: Be part of a health system deeply committed to quality, compassion, and community
Stable, full-time opportunity within a growing, well-established medical group
