Job description
The Met invites applications for the History of Art and Visual Culture Fellowship in New York. The fellowship supports independent research using the Met collection and museum resources, encouraging original scholarship and collaboration with departmental supervisors and fellow cohorts.
Fellows work full-time during the term, Sept 1, 2027–Aug 31, 2028, with stipends of $53,000 (junior) or $63,000 (senior). Deadline Oct 15, 2026, 5 PM ET.
