n$328,500 - $445,591 a year
nDescription
nThe Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology in the Department of Medicine at
nthe University of Rochester Medical Center is recruiting a new faculty member with
ninterests in Advanced Endoscopy. Candidates with a special interest and/or
nexpertise in General GI, IBD, motility, nutrition and women's digestive health are also welcome to apply. The division is the region's leading tertiary/quaternary level academic GI &
nHepatology practice with an excellent national reputation, including "high-performing"
nstatus granted by US News and World Report.
nThe Division enjoys a large robust regional referral practice in gastroenterology
nsubspecialities with investments in industry-leading endoscopic technology and excellent
nfacilities, support and infrastructure. Candidates should have a strong commitment to
npatient care and teaching. Various clinical research opportunities are available through a
nwell-staffed clinical trials section within the division.
nQualifications
nM.D. Degree or equivalent
nMust obtain a New York State Medical License prior to start date
nEligible for a Faculty Appointment at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry
nMust meet all credentialing requirements
nEligible for Board Certification in Gastroenterology and Hepatology
nPost offer Drug Screen and Health Assessment required
nCompliance with University and New York State health requirements

nThe referenced pay range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the base range of compensation for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job's salary range and established based on (but not limited to) market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries. Alignment of clinical incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
