Advanced Technician
Mocksville, NC
Summary
The Advanced Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing intermediate-level mechanical, electrical, and air system issues with minimal supervision. This role also performs advanced preventative maintenance, ensures DOT compliance, and completes required inspections and certifications to maintain fleet safety and reliability.
Major areas of responsibility include:
Independently diagnose and repair intermediate-level mechanical, electrical, and air system issues with minimal supervision.
Perform advanced preventative maintenance and component replacements, including brakes, suspension systems, air and electrical systems, and tire repair or replacement.
Conduct annual vehicle inspections and perform brake certifications in accordance with DOT standards.
Perform related duties as assigned
Skills/Requirements: HS Diploma / GED
3-5 years years of relevant fleet maintenance expierience required
TIA Certification (preferred)
Physical Requirements Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb throughout the workday
