Advanced Medical Assistant (AMA) - Back OfficeJoin a dedicated clinical team providing compassionate healthcare and patient management in a busy practice setting. This role involves supporting physicians and ensuring smooth patient visits with a focus on quality care and effective communication.Key Responsibilities:Deliver direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients.Manage patient flow efficiently, prepare patients for exams, and collect vital signs including weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiratory rate.Document patient histories, chief complaints, and physician instructions accurately in electronic medical records.Assist physicians with testing, treatments, minor procedures, splinting, dressings, and medication samples.Coordinate patient testing, referrals, and follow-up communications regarding test results.Maintain clinical supplies, ensure exam rooms are clean and organized, and uphold sterilization and equipment functionality standards.Education and Experience:Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing program is required.Work Schedule:Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.This position is located in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States, offering a supportive environment for professional growth and patient-centered care.
