Advanced Medical Assistant (AMA) - Back OfficeJoin a dedicated clinical team providing compassionate healthcare and patient management in a busy practice setting. This role adapts daily to meet the evolving needs of the clinic, ensuring patients receive attentive and thorough care.Key Responsibilities:Deliver direct patient care and support through delegation, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients. Provide reassurance, education, and clear guidance to patients.Coordinate efficient healthcare delivery during patient visits, including accurate and timely completion of medical records. Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints. Monitor and communicate abnormal findings to providers, ensuring documentation is thorough.Assist physicians with testing, treatments, minor procedures, and sample medication management. Facilitate patient testing, referrals, and follow-up communications. Support patient education and ensure understanding of treatment plans and medication instructions.Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, and ensuring cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and equipment.Perform laboratory tests and maintain lab logs as prescribed.Education and Experience:Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing program is required.Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, full-time.This position is located in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States, offering a supportive environment focused on quality patient care.
