The Ethereal Medical Health Clinic is seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner specializing in cardiology to join our dynamic healthcare team in Lancaster, New York. Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough assessments of new and established patients through detailed health histories and comprehensive physical examinations, both limited and full, as necessary.
Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient evaluations, which may include ordering necessary laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic procedures.
Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions while adhering to established guidelines and best practices for patient safety and effectiveness.
Engage with patients and their families to provide education on disease prevention, chronic disease management, and health promotion tailored to their unique backgrounds and needs.
Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, nursing staff, and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care and optimize patient outcomes in our cardiology department.
Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient care, track treatment progress, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
Stay updated on the latest cardiology practices and participate in continuous education opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Patient Population / Client Focus
You will primarily serve patients with cardiovascular diseases, including those suffering from heart failure, arrhythmias, coronary artery disease, and others. Our clinic focuses on comprehensive cardiovascular care, promoting health and wellness among diverse communities in Lancaster. You will address the unique needs of patients across various age groups, attending to their physical, emotional, and cultural requirements.
Qualifications
A Master’s Degree in Nursing is required.
Current Nurse Practitioner certification and licensure to practice in New York State.
Strong critical thinking and analytical skills to evaluate complex patient cases.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with patients and collaborate with team members.
Compassion and dedication to providing culturally competent care.
Preferred Experience
A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a physician practice or hospital setting, preferably in cardiology or a related specialty.
Experience in managing chronic diseases and working within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
