Your Role and Responsibilities
Performing in-depth patient evaluations, requesting diagnostic tests, and creating customized care strategies
Identifying and treating acute, chronic, or episodic health issues in collaboration with physicians or independently (depending on credentials)
Instructing patients and their families about prevention, health promotion, and management of diseases
Prescribing medications and therapies adhering to scope of practice
Engaging in patient follow-up and managing chronic care
Adding value to interdisciplinary teams to guarantee cohesive, comprehensive care
Meticulously documenting within electronic medical records (EMR)
Qualifications and Prerequisites
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Essential Certifications
Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in Ohio
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or relevant specialty
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain within three months)
