Your Responsibilities
Performing comprehensive patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and crafting personalized treatment plans
Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses, either independently or in collaboration with physicians, based on your credentials
Guiding patients and families in preventive care, wellness practices, and chronic disease management
Prescribing medications and therapeutic interventions within your scope of practice
Involved in patient follow-ups and chronic care solutions
Teaming up with interdisciplinary colleagues to ensure holistic patient care delivery
Accurately documenting patient information in electronic medical records (EMR)
Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Graduation from an accredited program for Nurse Practitioners
Mandatory Certifications
Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Wisconsin
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (or the ability to obtain these within 90 days)
