Job description
Anesthesia - CRNA
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a CRNA for a locum tenens assignment in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a CRNA:
Provide anesthesia services as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) under medical direction of Anesthesiologists
Work full-time Monday through Friday on day shifts with scheduling flexibility across 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts
Care for both Pediatric and Adult patient populations
Manage a patient caseload of approximately 5 to 10 patients per day
Collaborate with Anesthesia Technician support staff in the delivery of anesthesia care
Practice across both Hospital and Ambulatory Surgery Center settings, with primary placement at the hospital
Utilize Epic (EMR) system for clinical documentation and charting
Maintain active Pennsylvania (PA) licensure as required for this role
Maintain current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications
Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Complete full credentialing compliance requirements prior to start date
Submit required credentialing documents, including Social Security Number, Photo, and PATCH results within 5 days of signing
Schedule Department of Human Services Fingerprint collection and Child Abuse Search as required
Meet all health requirements including vaccines, physical, and fit testing
