Job Title: Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
Location: Ocean Shores, Washington
Schedule: 8:00AM - 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate : $71 - $76/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) for a locum tenens assignment in Ocean Shores, Washington. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP):
Provide family practice outpatient ambulatory care services in a community health center setting
See up to 18 patients per day in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Care for patients across all age groups, from newborns to geriatrics, with an emphasis on pediatric experience
Deliver care to vulnerable populations, including migrants and refugees, utilizing on-site interpretive services as needed
Provide outpatient ambulatory services including family medicine, walk-in/acute care, and chronic disease management
Manage same-day walk-in patients as needed
Perform basic procedures including injections, IUD placement, and minor wound care
Utilize EPIC EMR system for all clinical documentation
Work collaboratively with dedicated medical assistants, receptionists, mental health therapists, dietitians, and on-site pediatricians
Complete a one-week ramp-up orientation and be prepared to begin direct patient care by day three
Maintain active Washington state license and active Washington DEA
Maintain board certification and required certifications (BLS, ACLS, etc.)
Adhere to COVID and flu vaccination requirements
Follow facility policies, procedures, and productivity expectations for patient care delivery
Submit timecards to the local health care administrator
