Job Title: Physician Assistant (PA)
Location: Rochester, New York
Schedule: 8:00AM - 5:00PM x 5
Term: 26-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate : $99 - $106/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Physician Assistant (PA) for a locum tenens assignment in Rochester, New York. These positions are 26-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Physician Assistant (PA):
Provide APP services in a dermatology outpatient setting
Manage a patient load of 25–35 patients per day
Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Support clinical operations primarily at Clifton Springs location
Float to additional locations as needed
Utilize Epic electronic health record system for all clinical documentation
Maintain current BLS certification
Maintain valid New York state license
Must be Board Certified
Must have a minimum of 3 years of recent relevant experience
Ensure work history is current and complete with no gaps of 30 or more days
Submit a CV reflecting full experience history, requested time off, and malpractice review with physician explanation if applicable
Provide a physician statement if any malpractice history exists, whether dismissed or not
Complete NameClear process prior to submission
Adhere to open and flexible scheduling requirements as needed
