n Licensuren
n Activen n Physician Assistantn n orn n Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)n n licensure in the State of Illinois.n
n Education and Experiencen
n PA:n n Master’s degree or equivalent in Physician Assistant studies (effective January 1, 2018).n
n APRN:n n Master’s in Nursing with current national certification in the appropriate specialty.n
n Pn n rior urology experience is strongly preferred but not required. Surgical or consult experience is a plus.n n
n Knowledge, Skills, and Abilitiesn
n Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster collaboration and patient engagement.n
n Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records.n
n Current NCCPA certification (for PA) or national board certification (for APRN).n
n Illinois Controlled Substance License within six months of hire.n
n DEA registration eligibility and possession within six months of hire (may vary by site).n
n Current BLS certification; PALS/ACLS certification as required by practice site.n
n Physical Requirements and Working Conditionsn
n Ability to travel and work flexible hours, including on-call coverage, to meet patient and organizational needs.n
n Capacity to work under pressure in challenging situations and respond quickly to patient needs in a fast-paced environment.n
n Routine exposure to infectious specimens and patients, as well as potentially hazardous conditions.n
n Competence in caring for patients across age groups, understanding developmental and aging patterns.n
n Ability to lift up to 35 pounds independently; patient handling equipment and team assistance required for heavier lifts.n
