About PIMA Heart and Vascular:
Serving the community for 40 years, PIMA Heart and Vascular is the largest independent cardiovascular practice in Arizona and one of the largest independent practices in the country, known for comprehensive cardiovascular services, high-quality outcomes and strong operational capabilities. Our board-certified and board-eligible physicians specialize in internal medicine, general, interventional, and structural cardiology, electrophysiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and vascular surgery.
The Pima Heart and Vascular Vein Center provides comprehensive evaluation and management of lower extremity venous disease and leg swelling. Our specialists utilize the latest technology in the treatment of varicose veins, leg swelling, and leg ulcers. The Center is leading the way in Tucson and Southern Arizona in the performance of minimally invasive vein surgery. We take pride in personalized service in a comfortable and convenient location. About the Position:
The APP will work independently under the general supervision of the primary supervising physician, and all physician partners to delivery competent medical care to an age specific population including adults and geriatric patients at The PIMA Heart and Vascular Vein Clinic. This position will see majority clinic patients and may eventually perform vein procedures including sclerotherapy, microphlebectomy, radiofrequency ablation, venaseal ablation, as well as office visits.
Position to maintain the scope of practice to be consistent with the policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines governed by the Arizona Medical Board, and any other federal or state regulatory agencies, as well as the policies and procedures of PIMA. Understands the needs of the organization and supports the mission, values, and management of PIMA and USHV.
Experience Requirements:
APP with Vascular experience preferred, not required as we are willing to train the right candidate
Active AZ license or willing to apply
Master's degree in nursing; graduate of an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or PA program.
Position Highlights:
Full time -40 hours per week
Monday- Friday, no weekend or call schedule
