Your Responsibilities

Performing thorough assessments of patients, ordering necessary tests, and creating tailored care strategies

Identifying and managing acute and chronic health issues in coordination with physician colleagues or independently as your credentialing allows

Providing education to patients and families on wellness, prevention, and ongoing care management

Prescribing medications and therapies compliant with practice regulations

Engaging in follow-ups and managing chronic illnesses

Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure enriched, holistic care

Maintaining precise documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)

Education To Thrive

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)

Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

Active Nurse Practitioner license in Idaho

Nationally recognized certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC), or other appropriate specialty

Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or capacity to complete within 90 days)

Your Distinguishing Skills

A blend of clinical proficiency with an empathetic approach to patient care

Exceptional communication abilities with patients, families, and healthcare teams

Flexibility in dynamic, patient-focused environments

Familiarity with EMR systems and an understanding of telehealth practices
