Position Summary
The Advanced Practice Provider Educator is an exempt position responsible/accountable for; educating, clinically
developing, measuring and documenting competencies, and being an ongoing resource to new and existing Physician
Assistants and Nurse Practitioners throughout the organization.
Education & Experience Requirements
- If a Physician Assistant:
o Current New York State Licensed Physician Assistant
o Current National Certification
- If a Nurse Practitioner:
o Current NYS license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse
o Current NYS certification as a Nurse Practitioner
o Current National Certification
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience required
- Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Proficiency in procedures, techniques and skills approved in their delineation of privileges
