Penn Medicine is dedicated to our tripartite mission of providing the highest level of care to patients, conducting innovative research, and educating future leaders in the field of medicine. Working for this leading academic medical center means collaboration with top clinical, technical and business professionals across all disciplines. Today at Penn Medicine, someone will make a breakthrough. Someone will heal a heart, deliver hopeful news, and give comfort and reassurance. Our employees shape our future each day. Are you living your life's work?

LG Health Physicians Family and Maternity Medicine is seeking a Part-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team. Our group is comprised of nine family physicians all serving as faculty members in the Family and Community Medicine Residency program as well as three APPs (soon to be four). We serve an economically, racially, and culturally diverse population comprised of greater than 50% Medicaid recipients. Our scope of practice is full spectrum family medicine and therefore would be extremely flexible in terms of personal interests and desire for professional growth. From obstetrics care to virtually any procedure within primary care to MAT for substance use disorders, there is opportunity at Family and Maternity medicine. However, APP spectrum of care could be tailored to training and comfort level. We serve patients across the lifespan and many of our family medicine physicians deliver babies at WBH. Because the majority of the group is comprised of teachers of family medicine, there is a true culture of learning and creativity which pushes us all to practice the most evidenced based medicine and continually improve.

This APP would function as a primary care provider and carry a panel of patients in addition to acute care. Family and Maternity Medicine has one location attached to WBH. Given the proximity to WBH, most ancillary services are very accessible to our patients, including radiology, physical therapy, laboratory services, etc.
