nPosition OverviewPrime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our growing Gastroenterology team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a collaborative, patient-focused group while enjoying a balanced schedule and supportive work environment.Highlights of the Role• Flexible Schedules: Option for 12-hour shifts or 8-hour shifts• No Call Requirements – enjoy your personal time without after-hours interruptions• Multi-Site Role: Work between our Joliet location and Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago• Collaborative Team Environment: Work alongside experienced gastroenterologists and support staff• State-of-the-Art Facilities with advanced GI diagnostic and treatment capabilities
nResponsibilities
n• Provide comprehensive GI care alongside a multidisciplinary team of physicians and support staff.• Conduct initial assessments, follow-ups, and manage inpatient consults and outpatient follow-up visits.• Assist with procedures and ensure continuity of care.• Collaborate closely with attending gastroenterologists to optimize patient outcomes.• Participate in care coordination, documentation, and patient education.
nQualifications
n• Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) licensed in Illinois.• Strongly preferred: 1+ year of experience in Gastroenterology or inpatient medicine .• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.• Ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive medical team.• EMR proficiency (experience with Epic is a plus).

nPrime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $125,000-$140,000 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
